Joshua Martin

Yogi Bodhi 500HR RYT and Co-Founder

The world may not be all rainbows and butterflies. You wouldn’t know it by looking at Janine Martin. A constant smile and a warm burst of positive energy follow her wherever she goes. She offers emotions of joy and excitement with a love for life that is contagious to all of those around her. Janine was first introduced to Yoga in 2011. She fell in love with the quest for self through physical practice. It wasn’t long until she acquired her first 200 HR YTT in Hatha Yoga. Her goal was to give the gift of Yoga to as many people as she could. She became a traveling beach Yoga instructor for several years spreading as much self-love as possible. In 2013 her journey brought a fellow spreader of joy into her life. She introduced Joshua to Yoga. She and Joshua Martin married not long after meeting one another. They joined forces and set their sites on reaching an even higher number of people. They began traveling the world together gaining furthering education in Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, among many other practices. Janine enjoys teaching a wide array of classes including but not limited to powerful Yang flows with challenging movements, impactful and creative Yin classes, along with meditation and pranayama. There are many ways for a student to reach their bodhi and Janine hopes to accommodate this journey for all of her students. She is a perfect example of what living life as a Yogi can offer both on and off the mat.

Joshua has always been a movement enthusiast. His mind and body are always at work. A long time personal trainer, Joshua discovered his true passion in 2013. Yoga transformed his life on and off the mat. Since then he has dedicated himself to his practice and travel to better serve those around the world. Along with breathing, meditation, and positivity he offers a wide array of Yoga gifts. He loves teaching high intensity power flows with dynamic movements while still showcasing the benefits of adopting an introspective Yin approach to life. He has a unique perspective on the world and believes his true gift is helping his students get to know themselves better. He knows the importance of self confidence and self exploration. Although some of his techniques are unorthodox and non-traditional, he stresses the importance of being able to identify the difference between your mind and body. Once you’re open to new ideas you can then go deeper into improving your relationship to both of these areas and ultimately achieve whatever it is you want out of this life. His emphasis on having a healthy body is only matched by the importance he puts on first having a healthy interaction with the mind. He is always eager to help as many people as he can achieve a balance in their life that works best for them.

“If you are not enjoying yourself along the way to reaching your goals, chances are you have the wrong goals.”
